Spicy Salad Mix Microgreens


Our sassy elevated combination called our Spicy Salad Mix! Like our Basic Salad Mix, which includes Waltham 29 Broccoli, Vates Blue Scotch Curled Kale, Purple Vienna Kohlrabi, Slow Bolt Arugula & Red Acre Cabbage, this mix includes a dash of Southern Giant Mustard for a spicy kick.


    Full of antioxidants, glucosinolate, Vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, as well as calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, carotene, amino acids, and protein…this spicy mix helps to boost your immune system, supporting gut and eye health.  Current studies are showing positive results in the potential management and treatment of obesity with its anti-inflammatory properties. When consumed daily you will get an immune-building, energy-pumping, bone-strengthen kick!

    Please note that while microgreens have many potential health benefits, it is essential to consume them as part of a balanced diet and not rely on them as the sole treatment for any medical conditions.     This spicy mix is white stemmed with mostly green leaves, and added hints of purple and red highlights which carries a mild sweet taste of brassica with a peppery hit of spicy mustard.

  • USE

     This mix is a colorful garnish to any plate or add a handful to your favorite soup or veggie bowl.  Want to elevate your ramen noodles, add a handful right before you eat to finish off your dish!  You can always use them as a substitute for lettuce in any dish including sandwiches, wraps, burgers, burritos, or tacos.  And if you enjoy smoothies, these are fresh addition!  Our favorite is to fill our salad bowls with a handful of Spicy Salad Mix and add in a can of tuna and a tablespoon of yogurt or mayonnaise… mix and enjoy.  These flavorful microgreens need no extra dressing!     To help your shoots get their longest shelf life store your microgreens in a dry, cool place. Wash them just before eating them. Storing them in a resealable bag or container with a lid works well. Add a paper towel if needed to remove water - Do not store them wet.  Your microgreens should store for 7-14 days in the refrigerator.  Many find these greens stay fresh for up to 30 days!
