They are known for their rich antioxidant properties, and they regulate blood pressure which can potentially support cardiovascular health. Studies are under way to show that they also help reduce stress and anxiety. Basil has been used for its help in easing intestinal gas and with kidney issues for years. Best of all, they possess antimicrobial properties in fighting molds, yeasts, bacteria, and viruses.

Please note that while microgreens have many potential health benefits, it is essential to consume them as part of a balanced diet and not rely on them as the sole treatment for any medical conditions. Always consult with your primary healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet.

  • TASTE

Our soil-grown Basil microgreens are aromatic with a deeper flavor than mature basil. They offer a fresh, slightly sweet taste which some compared to a peppery anise, clove, or licorice flavor. Their unique flavor profile makes them a popular choice, especially in any Italian dish.

  • USE

Use our soil-grown Basil microgreens to change the flavor of any salad, sandwich, or wrap. They blend well with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries in a shake or smoothie. Basil blends effortlessly into a pesto with garlic, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and olive oil. This basil is commonly used in Italian cuisine which makes them a natural choice when topping pizzas, creating tomato-based sauces, and atop any pasta dish. Try adding them with a little oil to your garlic bread the next time you toast it!
